Kenan graduated with his high school diploma at the age of 16 and enrolled into The Workforce Connection’s Elevate Program at the age of 17. He had no previous work experience but identified Nursing as his Career Pathway. He was seeking assistance with transportation and tuition assistance while pursuing post-secondary education.
Kenan enrolled and started attending Rock Valley College in 2021 to complete the prerequisites for the nursing program. We’re pleased to report that Kenan has now finished the Nursing program, with support from TWC, and is employed in the Rockford region as a Nurse.
