This fall, an innovative partnership came full circle. On September 30th, three apprentices graduated from a new industrial sewing apprenticeship, officially sponsored by Tad More Tailoring, the first registered program of its kind in the area. The Workforce Connection proudly played a key role in coordinating and submitting the apprenticeship for registration with the U.S. Department of Labor, helping bring Tad More’s vision for training and sustainability to life.
The program offers a well-rounded experience, blending technical sewing skills with entry-level workplace training to prepare participants for long-term success. Tad More’s focus on reducing waste and maximizing resources gives the program a unique edge, combining job readiness with a commitment to sustainable manufacturing practices.
We are proud to have supported this collaborative effort and even prouder to see the first cohort cross the finish line.
