Strategic Partnership Advances Apprenticeship SuccessRockford Toolcraft Inc. continues to lead in workforce development through its active participation in the RRVTMA Apprenticeship Program. As part of its broader commitment to expanding talent pipelines in manufacturing, Rockford Toolcraft partnered with The Workforce Connection (TWC) to provide tuition reimbursements for classroom instruction delivered through Rock Valley College. This collaboration reflects Rockford Toolcraft’s ongoing commitment to developing skilled talent through a combination of hands-on training and classroom instruction. By combining structured learning with real-world experience, the program equips apprentices with the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed and grow within the industry. Lukas Bell (pictured above), an apprentice at Rockford Toolcraft, is making remarkable progress in his Tool & Die Maker Apprenticeship through RRVTMA. “Being in the apprenticeship program has helped me build confidence and technical skills on the job,” he said. “It’s a great opportunity to grow while working full time.” These types of partnerships between The Workforce Connection, employers, and educators support a strong regional talent pipeline, while keeping leadership and direction where it belongs: with the employers shaping the future of manufacturing. |
