The Workforce Connection (TWC) was proud to present at the National Association of Workforce Boards (NAWB) Forum in late March.
The session, titled “Leveraging Industry Partnerships to Tool Up Tomorrow’s Workforce,” highlighted how apprenticeships—along with partnerships between workforce boards and businesses—can address immediate hiring needs while preparing for long-term workforce sustainability. Attendees learned how one business created a favorable environment for in-house training as well as how a workforce board can support business partners in establishing apprenticeships.
The session featured a strong lineup of local leadership including:
